The Perfect Summer Cottage

Two 1920’s vintage cottages are reimagined to become one. We took what had once been a deck and made it into a vaulted hearth room with fireplace connecting the two cottages. We added new kitchen cabinets, appliances, butcher block countertops, and lighting. New wide plank floors match the original. All the walls and ceilings were boarded to embellish the vintage charm. We kept many of the old vintage windows and added new ones. New baths afford all the modern conveniences. New HVAC, upgraded electric, and a new foundation were are necessary investments. On the exterior we replaced the old vinyl siding with cedar, we added a new roof, a new front porch and all new decking. We also added a bevy of Endless Summer Hydrangeas to capture the sweet summer beauty of this very special home.
