Modern Farmhouse

A tired century old house gets a new life. We kept the original look and changed everything else. . ..New foundation, new roof, new cedar siding, and windows. The new open floor plan included an addition that housed a sun filled hearth room with fireplace adjoining the kitchen, and a new master bedroom. We added new hardwood floors throughout and replaced all the mechanicals. The ultra modern kitchen featured shaker cabinets, stainless appliances, Carerra marble countertops and an island that was made from the original reclaimed wood from the exterior siding. The master bath included a Carrara marble vanity and shower stall, and a luxurious freestanding tub. We also tackled the decks and landscaping, and restored the once very charming garage. In the end we brought her back to something so much better.
